Tanzania

In Tanzania, where baseball did not exist until 2012, it was introduced for educational purposes. Since 2014, the "Tanzania Koshien Tournament" has been held annually, and since 2015, women's softball has also been included. With "Discipline," "Respect," and "Justice" as its slogans, it is also the birthplace of Baseballership® education, which originated from practical experience. In 2021, an agreement was signed, and seminars have progressed to basic, practical, and advanced training levels. Due to its abundant tourism resources and stable security, the "Tanzania Koshien Study Tour," in which Japanese working professionals and students participate, has been held annually since 2023.
